Ayeman Mazdi Nahin completed his undergraduate studies in Materials and Metallurgical Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology. His undergrad thesis was focused on studies related to co-doped Bismuth Ferrite Oxides with DFT simulation. Before joining the PhD program in MSE at UC Davis he was involved in several research projects. Ayeman’s research includes DFT simulation of advanced ceramics, characterizing mechanical, electrical, and magnetic properties of ceramics and alloys, life cycle assessment, etc. In 2023, he joined Zhang's Research Group. His current work focuses on high-entropy metallic alloys under the supervision of Professor Mingwei Zhang.
